The Heirloom Tomato Festival was a huge success!
35 Heirloom Tomato Varieties
25 different foods prepared featuring tomatoes were available for sampling
16 lbs, 11 oz of leftover tomatoes were donated to the South Carroll Senior Center
The Tomato Festival Committee plus 33 additional volunteers helped with the festival

Carroll County Forestry Board is pleased to announce they are now accepting orders for Free Backyard Buffer seedling packets for all Carroll County residents within 300 feet of a water body. Carroll County Forestry Board is also accepting registration for the ‘Fish Grow On Trees’ workshop. This year, the workshop focuses on streamside forest benefits for Maryland wildlife, including native brook trout restoration and federally endangered bog turtles.
